Nyssa was founded to change a long-standing paradigm: women have too often been expected to simply suffer through the “unmentionables” of womanhood. Nyssa creates “wear therapy” for women of all ages and sizes, offering practical postpartum and period care solutions.
 
Nyssa began after its co-founder experienced firsthand the lack of practical postpartum recovery options. Its first product was postpartum recovery underwear designed to securely hold ice or heat therapy where it is needed.
 
Today, Nyssa offers postpartum and period care products that include recovery underwear and bras, ice and heat therapy products, pads, and leggings. Its products are developed with input from healthcare and maternal-care professionals, including OB-GYNs, pelvic floor therapists, doulas, midwives and lactation experts.
